Hi everyone, I am seeing a new therapist on Wednesday morning at the mental health clinic. I have a good feeling that this might be a good thing for me as my other therapist got put on LOA in Sept. She made some promises to see me at the library and it never happen nor has she kept intouch. It use to bother me, but im eager to continue working on what has brought me to therapy. I miss my therapist too.

I think her keeping intouch with me outside of the clinic was wrong, and it did not feel right for me to keep intouch with her and being let down over and over.

My husband just got out of hospital yesterday for a very bad Kidney failure and other health issues. It's been hard. I also have been seeing a grief counsellor for some major loses in my life and thats been going well, infact I think in a few weeks I can manage with only working with the new therapist. She is trained in trauma, dissociation, EMDR and other therapies.

I hope your new therapist will prove a help and comfort to you. You've been through a lot and still are going through a lot in your life. I wish you only the very best!
