Is it possible for milk to start to think about going off before the date on the carton?
The date on the carton is tomorrow, semi skimmed milk cause whole milk is undrinkable and the shops dont often have skimmed milk here |

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. They kind of need to be at least somewhat fresh. I think a disappointing grilled cheese might make me have a complete breakdown right now.

I've never used door dash or any of the other newfangled food delivery thingies but am tempted this month to do so... like for a big ol' piece of cheesecake or something delicious like that...

I keep seeing things on facebook about making grilled cheese in an air fryer, but I haven't tried it yet.

I'm browsing short, full haircuts for women over 60 again... since i am incapable of making a huge, turn-my-life-upside-down change, maybe I can do some little changes...

During covid, we used DoorDash a lot so we had minimal contact with people. We also got our groceries delivered. It's expensive though, so we don't do it anymore.

Me too! I really really like this place I started going near where I live now, it's a little costlier than like Great Clips or something but they do everything - wash/cut/dry/product/style and have coffee/tea and fresh-baked cookies all included in the price. Last couple times I went to Great Clips they don't even wash your hair, and I walked out my hair still dripping wet

Happy Monday, Couch.
I am sitting in choir rehearsal with my guys, saying hush and listening to these farting sweaty loud humans with giant feet make beautiful sounds. This was supposed to be my last year but youngest wants to stay one more year because they are going on a big trip next choir season, and he wants me to go with. Bicycle guy is fabulous. We are going on a trip together this week. I was talking to him on the phone just a few minutes ago and he called me "sweetie" and I got all gooshy. And it also kind of makes me want to hold my breath and make a stupid joke and hang up the phone. Trauma is stupid. Acupuncturist decided to do this new Japanese acupuncture treatment on my belly and it has released TONS of anxiety. Waves, all day long, for days. I have a new therapist, an art therapist just for trying something new, and I MISS MY OLD THERAPIST so much because I know I could just walk in and say I feel gross and she would get it with no explanations. Plus she laughed at all my trauma jokes. New t is lovely and didn't laugh at my drawing of a plane that looked like an orca with wings and says therapist-y stuff but she is Very Earnest. __________________ Since you cannot do good to all, you are to pay special attention to those who, by accidents of time, or place, or circumstance, are brought into closer connection with you. willowtigger- I had a kitty with seasonal allergies that would come and go. It always showed up on his back legs first and meant he needed his allergy meds upped. Hope that's all it is for your Willow.

I was in the midst of a kinda prophetic dream of sorts this morning before the alarm went off. The dream: I'm on a bus but later it was a train, and realize I am on the wrong one, and keep going up to the front to try to find out where it is headed, and keep thinking about getting off at wherever the next stop is going to be and then finding my way from there. One of the times going back to my seat, I see H in one of the little rooms, and I am so happy to have the company of someone I know on this ride. He doesn't want to get off at the next stop, he wants both of us to ride the train as far as it will go. I look out the window again and see there's beautiful scenery in the distance and I decide I want to try to see this 'getting on the wrong train' as an adventure and look for the good things, so we start talking again and it's like when we first met and got married and we're having fun and enjoying each other's company and I start seeing that whether I get off at the next stop alone, or stay on the train til the end of the route, either way I can't know the future/there are no guarantees, so I make the decision that I want to stay on the train/not be alone/figure out how to find happiness inside myself that is not dependent on the scenery outside the train. I snuggle next to h with my head on his shoulder and try to fall asleep, and that's when the alarm woke me up!
