True! And this was 22 years ago (when he did the dissertation). Maybe he needed a 20-year break before he could stand to learn more. (Though I imagine he's probably learned more from her since then!)

Hi all. School is a good distraction for me but it is intense too. I studied most of the morning up to right now (1:50ish PM) This weekend I will have to write a paper. I am trying to get chapter 3 and 4 done before then. Life is fine. Labor day was nice. 4 day work week is always good. I will have a 4 day work week next week too as I am taking Friday off. I am going to Las Vegas to visit some friends who I haven't seen since 2004-2005ish. I am excited but also nervous. We have kept in touch (obviously) but I think I am much sicker now than I was then. Sucks. HUGS to everyone who wants one.

Yes well after all that! I got a msg this weekend from the drs office that said there WERE refills on my scrip, just call the drugstore. So i just called now, after submitting an online request last night that still showed there were NOT, and she said they will fill it today. So im good for another 2 months.

Dang it is soooo humid today, i am sitring here just sweating. And there IS a bit of a cool breeze.

My rubber gloves and my full fat salad dressing should be arriving today. I am pretty good at using only one premeasured packet of salad dressing, no matter how big the salad. But i cannot be trusted with a bottle of the stuff!

Just got out of the ER. I was having severe pelvic pain.

Possible trigger:

They found 2 ovarian cysts. Looks like the gyn next week won't be prescriping me fertility meds.

Here's the weird part: the ct scan showed my liver was normal size?!?! I haven't changed my diet or exercise, so how does an enlarged liver shrink?

I'm so sorry. I'm sure you're heartbroken about the cysts and what they mean about the meds.

About your liver: Maybe some other medication you're on helped? Or--did you change any medication since it was enlarged? I know some medication affects the liver, so if you stopped something or changed the dose, maybe that's why?

Today's session was impossibly hard, even though I chose it to be so.
The video from the homepage of Steve's website is still available, and I have talked to R about watching it together.

We began that process today, and even though R was prepared for me to be emotional, I was less ready.

We didn't even get to the point where he said the phrase.

So much for my thinking it's only 90 seconds.

It's 90 seconds where he isn't quite dead.

thanks! i was so excited to hit the road I forgot to pack my tennis shoes haha so I found a walmart near the hotel and bought a cheap pair. it won't be the same as having my custom inserts, but will still be infinitely better than trying to hike in flip flops would be!
