I have to remember to get cash to tip drug delivery and apartment maintenance folks. They might start getting quarters!
Ah - I rarely app anything. For some reason, I dislike apping.

I think I was struck by the phrase "useless dollars in rolled quarters" - I mean how are the dollars useless if they are money that can be deposited back into the bank.
I have been grading student exams. Reading so many of the law school student exam answer equivalence of "It was a dark and stormy night...." has taken its toll.

I'm sorry, ATAT.

I hope you still get the captioning if you say no (I'm trying to be polite here...) to the interpreters.

So do supermarkets.

But stopdog, why are you trying to talk sense to ex-hankster? You know that dog won’t hunt.

I hadn't considered it that way--I'm sorry. I was just thinking maybe they'd misunderstood your request somehow. They do sound incompetent, so withdrawing is likely your best option. Maybe you can find something similar that is competent and accommodating.

It bugs me when people don't consider what they're offering properly.

I went to an origami workshop about 10 years ago at a local health food shop.
I rang beforehand to ask about access.

'There are 13 steps, but you'll be fine.'

I got to the venue to discover a slatted staircase, with gaps in between.

When I needed to use the facilities, I had to ask one of the waitresses to assist me down the stairs.

Possible trigger:

After I turned red, they remembered that there was another staircase.

Trees on the property we're staying at while visiting our son. It's so freakin' gorgeous here.

Beautiful picture, Artie.

I'm grateful for people who can take pictures and stay upright, because I have to choose one or the other.
