Some days people can't deal with other people. I have a feeling my T has A LOT of days she can't deal with me. My CM and her contact each other and discuss common clients, and Monday my CM said I'm like psychotic manic or having some ridiculous presentation of alcohol withdrawals and both are BS but if she told my T that maybe T just said "Nope. Not dealing with this sh this week"
Maybe why when I stay in one place with one provider they always drop me? __________________ [Insert thought-provoking and comedic quote here] |

It is possible if they think you're resistant to their advice or guidance, I guess Muddy. Could be anything really, though. For me I'd try not to dwell in conclusion that like angers you too much. Maybe just ask them straight up and watch them dilly-dally around their answer. All the best there Muddy.

I think that it’s more likely she has her own health issues or, I’m sorry if this sounds harsh, that she is simply flaky. It’s their job to give us consistency, and I’m sorry to hear that she’s not giving it to you.

Did they all keep cancelling? Sorry to hear that. Maybe, yes, they all had their issues. I think that the ones I’ve seen have all had issues, which have got in the way of my therapy.

I know this would be difficult, but you could try asking her this question. I've asked my T if he was sick of me before and if he wanted to keep working with me.
But there could be many reasons she's had to cancel, like her own illness or chronic health condition, a family member's illness (especially if she has young kids), an emergency with another client, car trouble (well, unless you meet virtually, and then a power or WiFi outage could be a reason), etc. If it is about you (which it most likely isn't), then she should talk to you about whatever the issue is, not just cancel. |
