Just a short walk around town this morning.

I just realized something. When I got my most recent order of sertraline a couple weeks ago, there was a letter in there that the manufacturer had changed. Huh, I wonder if the new manufacturer doesn't work as well.... working for a pharmacy I should have realized this sooner!

That's entirely possible, Artie. It could have a bit less of the active ingredient (I think it needs to be within a certain percentage, but a small amount could make a difference).

Also, thanks for the reminder to take the Paxil I started recently!

I think my sibling has got some sort of trauma bond with his evil abusive wife. I do not understand it - he can say she gaslights, emasculates, criticizes, and berates him but he cannot find a way to leave. The children are grown (an earlier reason for not leaving) and all they really have is the house but he just won't leave her because she doesn't want a divorce (his words) - I have no idea what is wrong with him. I have a house he can live in rent free, he can find a job here, and our parent has offered to help him as well -but he just keeps going back to her.

The older I get, the more I think the natural human fear of change is what keeps most people in miserable situations.

I’m struggling with it myself in leaving my ableist workplace—hence the setting of a deadline to leave a couple months ago. The deadline is still in force and I’m still preparing for it practically and mentally.

That is probably the reason versus my diagnosis - that his brain doesn't work.

I am glad to hear you are continuing to prepare to leave your miserable situation.

I think I just don't have his tolerance for misery. It is like several people in his life show him windows and doors and he just rejects those in favor of trying to run through a brick wall. And while I have always had at least 3-9 escape plans going at any given time - he has none.

Couch Workout Club day 62

Did my step goal twice over walking around the park and town, and then walking to my art class.

Are you also like Sherlock Holmes and have bolt holes stacked with disguises all over the city?

I thought everyone did. I am not that good at the makeup artist part though

No, but you more than make up for that with the scintillating way you say, “Elementary, my dear ex-hankster.”
