What kind of stuff do you do with them? Usually when I talk to mine it's like a check-in type thing or filling out paperwork for housing stuff or making plans. Sometimes we go for drives and just talk so I'm not CONSTANTLY around people bad for me. She said she wants to do something "fun" with me though like go to a museum or art gallery or something. A couple times we met at a coffee shop and she bought me something (well, one was her giving me a ride from the hospital and we stopped but either way) and it was weird having someone pay for me to have coffee from Dunk's I only get on special occasions, let alone let someone (SOMEONE WHO IS ON MY MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT TEAM) pay for me. I mean, I've had friends help me out with groceries, but that was me sharing it with them, and they're friends so it's more mutual and it's different.

I don't know. I've had some transference (and counter-transference, but that guy eventually set boundaries when I kept calling him for months after I had to leave his practice) stuff in the past. I actually kinda think my current T (not CM. Definitely not CM) is a favorite person. I've had a lot of "authority figures as FPs especially mental health peeps" in the past which is weird because I'm afraid of authority figures but maybe that makes sense for reasons I can't put into words right now.

Anyway I'm gettting a little off topic. If you have any treatment providers you meet in the community (specifically case managers) do you really do anything like that? I mean, I'm in assertive community treatment so maybe it's a bit different, but still. I'm used to these types of people doing bare minimum (Ts=30min appointments whenever it's convenient for them. CMs that show up sporadically. Once I was told I was supposed to meet with mine weekly, but I hadn't seen her in two months. pdocs/NPs that aren't even in the office when I have a scheduled appointment).

My friend has a CM and bascially does similar stuff like you do with yours.

They've been shopping, coffee shop, etc, as well.

Mostly walks, checkins, arranging housekeeping, as well as filling out administraitvie forms.

I have a peer supporter and have met her twice, so far so good. It's for Zoom chats, walks, coffee shops, museums, etc.

I'm meeting a case manager today to see what services they can help me with. I'll let you know what they say after the appointment.
