I was throwing up all morning and I tried a bunch of stuff so I could make it in person and then finally I knew I had to switch to telehealth. So I emailed her and she said how about if we do in person on Thursday. I apologized and told her I didn't want her to fire me. She said she never would and that she totally understands my situation.
I was sick 3 times during the time we would have been meeting and I've been sick pretty much all day and I haven't gotten out of bed. So I didn't over react or anything But I still feel like such a jerk for this. __________________ I'm Blue |

I'm sorry you're feeling so awful. It sounds like your T understands, as she knows of those health issues. I hope you'll be feeling better for the session Thursday. Well, I hope you're feeling better much sooner than that!

What is the longest youve gone not drinking soda? Its like you keep picking off the scab of your ulcer as soon as it forms. You never let it heal. Are you aware of this? Its really not a mystery, its just ulcer science. And you know us boomers love our science!

Idk but I'm also throwing up large chunks of food before they get to my stomach. Is that because of the ulcers?

Ok but my post wasn't about my ulcers or soda. It was about feeling bad about calling her and asking to switch to telehealth and her asking if I'd like to switch to in person on Thursday.

I’d not feel bad if I have to cancel due to being sick. That’s perfectly understandable. You cannot go to sessions sick.
But I’d try to figure out what makes you sick. Or get new doctors. I have stomach problems too so I get it. But not being so sick that I would be in bed all day. My brother in the other hand was violently ill before being diagnosed with ulcerate colitis. Makes me wonder if they diagnosed you correctly. Throwing up chunks of food before it even goes down is scary. |
