Help!
I have 3 sessions left with my therapist.
Then I'm not allowed to see her or contact her again.
(It was through a charity so this is the agreement.)
I'm so scared I won't cope without her.
Last session I sobbed all the way through.
How can I deal with this ending?

That is really difficult. How long have you been with her?

Are you able to find another therapist? Maybe through another organization or one with a sliding scale if you need?

For the ending, can you maybe ask her for something, a transitional object, to remember her by? It could be as small as a note to you on a piece of paper. That's all my pdoc was able to do for me and I cherish it. Also, maybe you could discuss with her your achievements, what you're greatful for, where to go next (referrals), etc.

Hi @Stuck99 - welcome to MSF. Sorry to hear your therapy is ending.

How about asking your therapist for self help resources or a therapist referral that could help with your diagnoses?

Another option is to google online or in-person support groups for your mental health challenge. You are not alone.
