You may think that, but we only "know" if someone says that's how they feel.... bet she hasn't
That getting to know period can feel like that. Tell her you're feeling this next time so you can talk about it. |

the only way is to just ask... it can't really feel worse than that awful agony of thinking it and believing it but having so evidence of it you already believe she does, so worse case is you are right.. which is unlikely.. i mean, especially in that profession she would have learned to reserve her feelings until she got to know someone longer... and while there are bad t's, the majority i hopw are a little more human and compassionate than that... and hate... that's a pretty strong word.. i generally save it for pretty strong situations... have you done anything to merit that strong of a feeling? i doubt it, right? you have seemed to me to be nothing short of kind and compassionate yourself.. giving and cheerful... i haven't heard you talk about eating babies or anything ... hate... no... im sure... and this is not meant to be a joke.. i undertsand your pain doll... but think for a second ok? what is bringing this up? When you think about it.. are your first thoughts/words about T? or is it more like "it's just like...etc etc?" one of the tools you will learn and need in therapy is to recognize when strong meaning is being applied to innocuous circumstances.. it's a guidepost |

you know, i think if a therapist truly HATES a client, which is rare, but if it did occur, they would find some therapeutic psycho babble reason to terminate with you. "I'm overloaded with clients. I think you're fit for someone else. I'm changing careers." Heck, they can do whatever they want. The therapist has to be empathetic and care in order to help someone. If they truly hated a client, they would be of no help, and it would be in your best interest for them to terminate you.
You need to bring this up with your therapist if you are to progress any more. If you keep this in, you'll be stuck and not move forward. Tell her, you may be surprised with her reaction and compassion. __________________ "...and everything is going to be okay." Poem from T. |

Hope you can discuss it with your T and learn differently. __________________ "Never give a sword to a man who can't dance." ~Confucius |
