I was chatting with a friend recently and said that I was sick of just walking into therapy and sitting down and talking. I said I wished that T and I could play scrabble and we could just make words and analyze them.
She laughed and said how about Hungry Hungry Hippo?  If you were going to play a board game with T, which one would it be?

My littles play games with my T lots!
They play the game "Sorry" and they LOVE when they knock her off with a sorry card. The last time they played one of my littles guys said "I say this completely seriously, I'm sorry" she was like "YEAH RIGHT, I've MET you before!" She's REALLY good with them, they love playing games. The littles taunt her, and she taunts them back. LOL It does wonders for healing really.

I think my T would be terrified to play a board game with me. This is because a couple of sessions ago, I described my competitive streak and told him how every single time I play cards or a board game with my husband, it is only a matter of time before I jump over the game and resort to physical assault. Even a simple game of Trivial Pursuit will undoubtedly turn into a brief wrestling match.
That being said, I pick Strip Poker. No!!! (yes?) I would love to play Othello (or sometimes known as Reversi) because it is a game of strategy and thought. Perhaps Hide and Seek in his office. Hahahahahahahahaha Can you imagine T covering his eyes and counting and me hiding under his desk??? Then he yells, "READY OR NOT... HERE I COME!!!" but I'm only like, two feet away from him. Hahahaaaaaaaa Oh wait, that's not a board game. Sorry. I am deviating from the originial question. Incidentally, Miss.... your 'friend' sounds mighty peculiar. Hahahahaha |

Risk.
Its the game with the world map and you go to war with the other player's countries and undoubtedly conquer the world. I thought Chess for a second but I feel like every session is a chess match with me plotting his (or my) demise. |

Well its not a card game,. but I'd play "snap" with her and when we lay the same cards, I 'd grab her hand and say snap and not let it go.

i would play connect 4. it was in a book i read about a girl in the hospital who couldn't connect with her t... and she was playing connect 4 alone when her t walked in and connected the winning piece that she herself would have missed. it opened the door for them to work.
