Tomorrow my therapist said he will try hypnotherapy with me for the first time. We did some short exercises in it the last 2 sessions, but this will be the first time to do it completely.
What should I expect? Anything I need to know before I go in? Thanks! |

I'm sorry I don't have any experiences but can you keep us updated on how it goes? Sounds pretty interesting!

You've already done some of this? It will be about the same then. If you remembered what you did in "going under" hypnosis in the short sessions, then you will also remember in the regular (unless you and your T agree to let you NOT remember.) If you don't recall, then you won't recall (unless you and your T agree to let you recall.)
You won't sense the passage of time, and it will probably feel like a very brief time. It depends upon how you and your T are approaching this, is it to find out information that you have been unable to remember on your own? Then it might be for him to learn what it is, and not share it with you until you are ready...or it might be that you want the "ah ha!" moment of putting things together. It's important to remember, as you probably know, that you are in total control really, though your T will be your guide. You won't say or do anything that will harm yourself, or anything that is against your moral fiber. Good wishes!
