First off, yes I have been on PC for awhile but needed to change my username. It's a long story but it needed to be done.

Anyway, at my session tonight T mentioned that he's going on vacation, somewhere cool for a few days. So what do I say?

No! You can't leave! Don't go... yeah. That was a wise move Why do I say these things to T??

Jealousy has reared itself in me once again. I really need to deal with this openly with him later on. The thing is I am also happy that he will get to relax and have fun. Why can't I just say that to him? or better yet, why can't I just make that my initial feeling and wish him well?

This is really starting to bother me. He doesn't deserve this. Now, I wasn't mad just whiney...I hate when I do that.

Ugh.

Sounds reasonable to me...

It sounds like you have ambivalent / mixed feelings about it. I'm usually a bit of a muddle of feelings when my therapist takes time off. I feel sad and alone, I feel mad and indignant 'how can he do this to me?', I feel pleased for him that he gets to take some time.

It is okay (perfectly normal, in fact) to have ambivalent / mixed feelings about it.

Hang in there.
