Today was awesome. I brought my colored pencils to my 2nd session and she already had some designs for me to color. That meant a lot to me that she had been thinking about me ahead of time. She also said, barring getting hit by a bus, she's committed to helping me and will be there for me. Yikes! Still not quite sure what I think about that. I always wondered if my former T ever thought about me outside of session. Having my new T bring in designs for me to color let me know she indeed was thinking about me out of session. That's a good feeling. She's seems to be more accessible. It'll be easier for me to email and call her knowing this.

"Sometimes," said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. "When you are Real you don't mind being hurt."

That is so great!!!!!!!

I remember once fairly early in therapy when T said to me on a Monday (I see him Friday and Monday), "I worried about you this weekend". I just felt like....wow. Like I was a real person to him, not just "Friday, 12 - 1"

I am so happy that you are connecting with her so well T thought of me T thought of me

earthmama: I certainly can relate. It's nice to know someone is thinking about you when they don't have to.

Kiya: Colored pencils are the best. The designs my T gave me are mandalas. You can find a lot of them online to download.

I do feel like there is a connection with my T. Of course, I'm borderline so I think I have a connection with everyone. LOL
