She's gotten through to me. I wrote this.... its all thanks to her:
Take what you can get- and leave the rest. Don’t stop trying to find what you are unable to get. Believe in yourself. You have the power to be who you want. You are not the thoughts in your head. They are just labels. Be aware of your thoughts and know they don’t own you. Be healthy in mind and body. Take care of yourself and pamper. You deserve it. Destruction to yourself is sabotage. Choose to be healthy and stay safe. Take control of yourself and no one else. Putting others down only pushes them away. You are not superior to anyone. Accept the things you don’t have power over, but control how you deal with those things. Believe it or not you do have the ability to control your moods. Events in life can influence a mood but you do have the option on how much you let it affect you. Others cannot put you down without your permission. Develop a healthy self-image and don’t let others skew it. Live in the moment everyday. Don’t go through the motions. You miss out on the little things that can make you smile. Dream. And reach for those dreams. Life can be meaningless if you have nothing to strive for. Make the best out of bad situations. Something good always comes out of them. Be optimistic to a fault. Never doubt your ability. Connect with others and savor those connections. They are the most precious moments that can stay with you always. Remember those connections when you feel alone or uncared for. Be who you want. Say what you feel. Reach for the stars. Want what you already have. And never, ever be afraid to ask for what you need because people are not mind readers. Use your voice. And do what you feel is right.
