Today I read the September 1st entry in the Sara Ban Breathnach’s book Simple Abundance and decided that today would be a good day for me to start fresh. She suggests that September is a good month to make a few positive and personal resolutions. So…. I’m going to try and come up with a few Autumnal Resolutions. These resolutions are about authentic wants. I thought maybe some of you might like to join in and share a resolution or two. For whatever reason I have trouble identifying and expressing my real wants and needs.

What do you want more or less of in your life, so that you can love the life you’re leading?
  • I want to spend more time around people who are generally positive, smile a lot, and are open and accepting of change
  • I want more friends that can accept that life sometimes sucks but who are quick to help you see a silver lining.
  • I want to try and be more like Charles Schwab, "hearty in approbation and lavish in my praise."
  • I want to discover my personal gifts, to find my inner artist, and be courageous enough to bring her forth.
  • I want less anger, resentment, conflict and negativity in my life.
  • I want to feel less guilt about wanting something more.
