Interesting. I start questioning like that about myself sometimes, so its understandable how others could do it, because most of them haven't been 'here' and cannot understand. I wonder if anyone thinks of me like that already.

Thank you for sharing that interesting article. I too have had a doctor think that I enjoyed being sick, then in pure frustration he sent me to a surgeon where I found out that my gall bladder needed removed.

I think I had the opposite with my dr. She insisted basically by refusing to not call me a victim and saying therapist words that I stay this sick and helpless patient. When challenged she just wrote me off. I think if I had been more mentally ill she would have loved being my doctor. She seemed to want me to be this sick helpless patient and I just cant play that role so she got mad.
