to everyone missing their T's right now.

My T was going to be away and I was dreading it! But she changed her plans and is here, although the holidays mess up the schedule so I'm only getting to see her once a week. We did talk about her saying telling me that " 'We' decided to not go away" and she declined to answer directly who the "We" is. Not that I thought she would. I know her by now.

So tonight was to be my only session this week and the session following my falling apart last Thursday, but I couldn't get away from work. I am having to do another person's job as well as mine and I am still new at supervising and managing my department's work and I really had no time for anything more. I told my manager months ago that it was going to be too much but she doesn't have anyone else who can do it. It was too much. I felt like I was going to be sick all day--really way too much for one person. And I was worrying about having to cancel my session , watching the time fly by but not the work that needed to be done.

I gave in and called to tell her I didn't see how I could make it and did she maybe have another time for me? I am so fortunate--she is willing to see me at 9pm tomorrow, so I won't have to miss seeing her this week! She's probably booked to the max, yet she fit me in and I'm certain she's staying later than she usually does. She could've ditched me, but she's making room for me. I'm feeling kinda warm about that, feeling something real that feels even better than the fantasies that the longings bring.

And I wish I could share T with all those missing theirs.

I'm glad your T has fit you in, and that you feel so cared for. What a nice thing at the holidays.

That conjures up such safe feelings....nice. I am always amazed when T says okay to a schedule change.

Yeah, me too! Maybe I could send you a few questions and you could ask T at your session for me and then send me her responses? LOL
