guys...st pat's day is one of the 2 worst days of the year for me (mothers day the other) due to the abuse that happened.

good news is that i have t today.
bad news is that i have t today.

i know i will be in the room physically but mentally i will be a million years away and a million people away.

i'm afraid i will dissassociate all over the place and scare the bejeebers out of my t (and me).

usually today i stay home and inside and don';t deal with anyone. the memories are so bad (think rape and then make it worse than you could ever make it)

i am dreading today.

stumpy...feeling not so amused and pretty yucky green today

((((((((((((((((stumpy)))))))))))))))) make sure to lean on your t a lot today!! And then treat yourself to some of those Italian yummies you like (they begin with a 'z' and I can't think of the name right now!)

You broke a wall!! Don't even know your own strength--way to go!!! Zeppoles!! I was at Olive Garden and saw them on the menu and pointed and said "oooh, those!!!" Of course, my kids looked at me like I had grown wings or something odd!! I know----you could have your zeppoles, then go to the gym then come tell us about it in the social group!!!

((( Stumpy))))

I hope the day went well for you - and that you leaned on your T if you needed to - I hope you took care of you and are still doing that.

You broke a wall at gym? was it like this? - must remember NEVER to upset you

Seriously though, I hope today is a better day for you - if its not come back and talk to us - let us support you if you need it - we are strong here....hmmm maybe not quite as strong as you though!!

Take care

Many warm thoughts headed your way. I hope you were able to let T support you today, and take this day for YOU, because you deserve it!

You are very brave for heading out today, and I hope it is going ok.

Just remember to stop and breathe -- really deeply breathe -- and know that one moment at a time is just fine. Let us know how it goes.

thank you everyone.

made it thru the day. therapy was so very hard...but my t was EXCELLENT. we remembered everything that had happened on that awful day and told her about it. she listened to it and managed to keep us (sort of) contained in her room...even tho we did end up hiding a bit towards the end.

memories that never were said before were told. awful ones. and she listened. and didn't run screaming from the room or call 911 for the loony bin express.

she sat next to us and made sure we were safe and then sat next to use when we were hiding. and then when we left she gave us a hug.

later that evening she called to make sure we were okay.

how did i end up with such a great t?

thank you everyone for the kind thoughts. it was good to have them & friends.

oh...and about the wall...the trainer at the gym was trying to get me to stretch my calf...well thanks to many knee and ankle injuries my joints are faily frozen. so since i couldn't use the method she suggested i said "usually i would just put my foot out and push with my arms etc" she said "show me."

well i leaned against a wall and pushed against it and did.

the wall (a wall actually) tipped over. oops.

gotta tell you tho...when a short fat woman knocks over a wall at a gym...all action stops. now tho...i command alot of respect at the place....
