So I wasn't going to share this because I get so worried on here about being anonymous and having all of my secrets public...HOWEVER...Friday was a HUGE milestone for me and I wanted to share it with you. I had/have a large history of Sui attempts and hospitalisations. They would average every 2 or 3months between and sometimes less. The longest I had gone in 12yrs was 8 months without being in the hospital. -BUT this past Friday was my 1year anniversary from the last time I was in the hospital!! Just wanted to share this with you as it was a very big event for me and that is the longest I have ever gone in 12yrs. Yes I said 12yrs!

Thanks for this!

Thanks Indie. I also forgot to say that my T said how proud she was of me and how far I have come in the 8yrs that I have been seeing her. That felt REALLY good!

Yea she took me to Starbucks that day even though she wasn't working that day. It was my little reward.

Cats, that's so fantastic! I'm so pleased for you, and it's great that you can feel good about it.

I remember my 'one year since I set foot in a hospital' (last October) very well. And I realise now (3 months short of 2 years) that I've actually stopped counting, because that bad old life feels so far away
