It's official, I was voted today by my speech class to represent them in the speech competition in 2 weeks. I am honored, excited, and terrified at the same time.

I am thinking of sending a ticket to my 2nd T, he was the one really that helped me through the death of my brother 1 1/2 years ago. I think he would be happy to see me give my speech on prevention of child abuse that honors my brother, and hopefully helps other children not have to suffer like we did. If anything I would like to thank him for all he did for me, especially during this period. I haven't contacted him since my last session where I terminated therapy. My current T told me he isn't taking any more new clients because of his health problems that I brought to his attention. I know he wanted to do therapy forever, do you think he might like to hear from me?

send tickets to everyone. put a ticket in a balloon and send one to your brother. he will be there. send one to me. where are you? if i am close i will come.

you need support as it gets closer...you message me. i'll send you stumpy strength (oh and our road name: dogpatch).

be calm. be strong. be centered. focus on the message. focus on the feelings the last speech gave you.

you should be proud of the accomplishment (not just of being selected....but of the message & of the what you have gained.)

Congratulations!!!

Last I read, you were wondering if you were going to be able to present your speech, and it looks like you were very able and very successful! Way to go

Thanks Stumpy again and again and again

I might take you up on the stumpy support! In the meantime I am trying to learn Powerpoint because I used a document camera before, and powerpoint would be better. I am going up against the best, I have to pull out all the stops!

Plus my little puppy got so excited today when he saw these dogs he plays with on a puppy date for only the 2nd time, that he jerked me to the side, and I threw out my hip. Now another thing to worry about. Why does it feel I am being challenged so much lately? geeze, enough already..

Thanks MIllionsOP,

I am going to pick out a card to send with a note and ticket. If anything I just want to know how much he helped me and how appreciated I feel for that.

Exoticflower,

Sending him a ticket would be a really nice. Even if he can't attend, you are letting him know how much he helped you. Very nice
Thanks for this!
