She called me and left me a message.

Asking me howI was, telling me to call her back. Asking me how I've been dealing with stuff recently (not fantastically) and also saying she realizes that we didn't book another appointment the last time and to call her back. She then offers me one of two free appointment times for over a week from now.

Sigh. She also asked me how I felt now about the stuff we had discussed last session. I was cranky because I wanted to deal with my "ab*se issues" sooner rather than later... I wanted to be FREE of it. Demanding much??

Anyways, she sent me home with a step by step "guideline" about how ab*se issues need to be dealt with in order to fully heal.

I was cranky because it's a LOT OF INFORMATION and OMIGOSH IT SOUNDS LIKE IT WILL TAKE *FOREVER* TO GET THROUGH.

Good motivation to forget to remind her that she hadn't booked me an appt when I left the last time.

I was totally crazy yesterday so I'll call her on Monday. Promise, whether I like it or not. Sigh.

I'm glad T cares about you.

I can totally relate to your feelings of just wanting to get through it.
Why can't our T's have a magic wand to wave and make it all better???
Thanks for this!

That's great that you have such a caring T!!!!!!

The verdict is still out as far as my relationship with my T.....but I wish it could be one of caring.

And there's really a step-by-step guideline on how to handle healing from ab*se issues????? Is it a published book that can be purchased/borrowed/looked up online? I'm really interested!

This sounds great. Can you post the step by step guidelines?

It sounds like that phone message was really good. She told you to call her back? That sounds great! Hope you call back soon and get some more caring and get that appointment set up too.

So much interest in the guideline of steps!!

Well, okay first: It's just a rough sketch by my T. It's not written in a book (as far as I know) ... and it IS from a "religious" standpoint, ie. it mentions God. But all that aside, if I can locate the sneaky little piece of paper in my messy apartment, sure I'll transcribe it for you all!!!!
