Well, after three long weeks of waiting to meet face-to-face, IT'S HAPPENING!!! After my ex left, I thought I was destined to be the circus freak no one wanted to date, but that isn't the case!

I met my "friend" in a chat room, just hanging out with some of my old friends, and he sent me a PM, and we've been chatting everyday for at least 3 hours since (cam-to-cam).

This Tuesday, I get to meet my friend in the flesh, not some webcam image. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!!! Every time I think about it, I get butterflies in my stomach, and a warm glow comes over me. Yes, we have spoken on the phone as well, but we use our computers so we can "see" each other as we talk.

I'm not nervous at all about us meeting; I have been looking forward to this day for a while now, it was just a matter of him getting the time off to do it. Well, his plant just laid off a bunch of people, and he has a week to himself, so he decided that it was time.

There is the issue of travel - we are 85 miles apart - but he doesn't care. He refuses to let me drive to him It's A Date!!

I am just so glad that I finally get to meet him, and he has conveyed just as much excitement.

I just wanted to share my little slice of happiness with all of my dear friends here, so I can have some fun celebrating my "first date"!!

Hugz and much love,
Jenn

Hi Dolfin,

That's cool. Tell us how it goes.

By the way, 85 miles is nothing these days.

Cheers, Myzen.

Thank you Myzen. I know 85 miles is nothing these days, I just think its awesome that HE refuses to let me make the drive (for now anyway). I'll update everyone as soon as I can!

Hugz and much love,
Jenn

Well, he just called and cancelled, and his reasoning was b/c he "couldn't accept the fact I have BP".

Pretty hurt and upset, so I dunno if I'll be a round for a few days. Just thought I'd update y'all.
