I wrote before about my son and his wife not wanting their kids here because we have horses, and the goofy pneumonia thing. Well, last Thursday evening, all four kids and grandma came down with the barfing flu at the same time, and who did they call for help? Good old Nan!! I helped clean up after sick ones at their house for about three hours, and wash kids beds and bedding and fold clothes, and finally get all four kids to bed. It was all the three of us could do to just keep up and keep cleaning up.The thing the kids did not know is that I had just come from the barn from doing chores and brushing the winter shedding hair out of one of the horses. When I got the call for help, I never gave it a thought, just went, and guess what. No one over at their house had an allergy reaction or got pneumonia!! My husband and I are having a nice little private laugh over that. And to add to their insult, we have new neighbors!! They are a family who left the Amish and they have four darling little kids, and we are going to be good neighbors and friends. When my son and his wife see them over here with their little ones, I Bet some thinking will be done!!! We will see how this plays out in the weeks to come!! Sometimes, if we wait patiently, the answers to things come all by themseves.

That ia awesome CJR! Having grown up around horses, I can appreciate your heavy heart when they say they don't want their kids around the horses because of "illness". I am excited for you, and hopefully your son will realize what a special experience his children are truly missing out on.

Hugz,
Jenn
