Hi everyone, Needing Some Advice, I've been feeling down lately and feeling like maybe I let a friend down. What do you do when you feel like you are failing as a friend? I think I maybe could have done more to help him , said more, listened more. I Sometimes let my emotions get the best of me, and reacted in a way I shouldnt have. I went out and bought a book, how to confront people you care about the correct way, without hurting them because I want to be a better friend and person.Does anyone have any suggestions, I would be so grateful. I cant sleep sometimes because I feel bad if i hurt someones feelings.

stop beating up yourself and start being a good friend to yourself first....
That's okay if you made a mistake and you let a friend down....you are such a good person for recognizing it....
we are all human being and we are making mistakes and we learn from our mistakes....
take care of yourself

I feel the best way to see if you have hurt someone's feelings is talking to that person and asking them if you may have said or done something that made them feel uncomfortable. Thats always the best thing. If he/she is a good friend you should be able to work through this. I wish there were more people like you that care about others enough. Some people say or do things willingly without a thought about whether they hurt someone's feelings or not. Just have a talk with your friend.
