Topic came up in casual conversation as to what a woman needs/wants. After going through all the general stuff, that would make a woman happy, I've come to conclusion that all that a woman wants is to be loved, to feel loved. I know that might sound kind of simple, but yet I think it is the simple things in life that seems to have more meaning.

Being a woman, maybe this is my age showing, but all the material things a guy can buy for a woman can make her happy for that moment. Yes, it is nice to get flowers and gifts. But how long do they last? Where "love" is supposed to last "forever". But then is there really a "forever"? Maybe not! But I am thinking if a woman feels loved by her "guy" not only will she be happy, but she will also giver her love in return. Which would make a happy couple?

Not that I have had a successful relationship that I would know a lot about such things. Two failed marriages and not looking for a third. But for my son, I want more for him. So I need ideas to share with him as to what is a "healthy" relationship.

I think that talking to each other with respect is a major important roll. I've noticed that in my relationships anyways that guys take things that I say in a different context. Meaning that I will mean one thing, and he turns it into something else. If that makes any sense. Also I need my feelings to be heard. Some guys can't handle that either. Just my 2 cents anyways.

I think we women are really pretty simple..maybe it does come with age..(a little hung up on that since I just turned 46 on Saturday)...

To be loved, to be understood, for her man to be her best friend....to be held, to have her face touched and feel like the most precious woman in the world. And to return all of that plus some...

I would rather be able to talk to my man about anything without getting yelled at than have a brand new, red Mercedes convertable!!!
