I move half way across the country about a year ago, leaving my only friend in the world, my best friend of 15 years.
She has a husband and 3 year old now. She texted and emailed frequently for about 6 months and it decrease as the demands of her job and family have increased. And yesterday she said OMG so much is happening I cant put it in an email, I wish we could go out and talk like we used to. I offered a phone call, but she said she was too busy. I miss her and my heart is aching. I feel like I am losing her. What can I do? ![]()

![]() I think all you can do is to keep letting her know you care and want to hear from her and share your life with her. It is very sad but sometimes even the best of friendships don't survive a long distance move. ![]()

![]() I'd rather have a visit, note or pretty picture than an "I'll say a prayer" or a "god bless you." Doesn't make me feel better, no meaning to me for sure. Can't stop you from praying and blessing me, and if that makes you feel better feel free. ![]() But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me. And let's all respect each other's feelings. With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings." ![]() |
