I move half way across the country about a year ago, leaving my only friend in the world, my best friend of 15 years.

She has a husband and 3 year old now.

She texted and emailed frequently for about 6 months and it decrease as the demands of her job and family have increased.

And yesterday she said OMG so much is happening I cant put it in an email, I wish we could go out and talk like we used to.

I offered a phone call, but she said she was too busy.

I miss her and my heart is aching. I feel like I am losing her.

What can I do?

(((((Berries))))) This may just be a time when your friend can't spend as much time communicating with you because of her young child and all her other life commitments. (Maybe she's feeling really stressed right now and just needs to feel less "obligations.") When her child is older and maybe other things settle down in her life, she may start communicating with you just as much as ever. Only time will tell.

I think all you can do is to keep letting her know you care and want to hear from her and share your life with her. It is very sad but sometimes even the best of friendships don't survive a long distance move. But until you are sure about what is going on with the relationship, I would keep in touch with her and let her know every once in a while just how much you miss not being able to communicate with her more often. Is there any way you two could arrange for a face to face visit?

I'd rather have a visit, note or pretty picture
than an "I'll say a prayer" or a "god bless you."
Doesn't make me feel better, no meaning to me for sure.
Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
Thanks for this!
