So there's this guy I've been talking to for a couple of months or so now, we've become very good friends, but I think I recently have developed further feelings for him. I know what I'm feeling is infatuation, because I think about him constantly during the day, and have frequent daydreams involving me and him and our possible romantic relationship. Every other potential love interest in my life is dull in comparison to him. We get along so wonderfully, and we have so much in common.
There's never a dull moment when I'm with him. But the confusion I've been feeling over what the nature of our relationship is has been turning me into a wreck. He flirts and compliments me generously on a regular basis, but then he will make statements like "I'm glad we're friends", and the mixed signals he's sending out are frustrating me. What would be the best thing for me to do? I would hate to ruin our friendship, but my feelings are growing too strong for me not to make a definite decision. Either way I fear rejection so greatly right now. ![]() |

If he flirts with you, that could mean a few things I guess. He could be interested more than a friend, yet he might not be. Men and women alike generally flirt without realizing it, or without any intentions of going further. Best bet is to just ask him what his intentions with you are. Either he says he wants to be friends or he wants more. You don't have to worry about rejection depending the on the way you phrase what you say. If he just wants to be friends, that cool, then you won't lose him as a contact. If he wants more, thats good too cause it seems that's what you want.
