i met this girl who i really like, im 14 and so is she. she is a grade younger than me though but we really hit it of (at least i feel that way) today. We met playing tennis today, but don't usually go at the same times. should i go during the time she told me she goes so i can talk to her more? like essentially what i need is how do i flirt without seeming creepy/desperate

sure, go ahead and go play tennis when she is there. i don't know if you both play every day, but i'd wait a day or two before showing up at her time if that's the case. also, i'd just go occasionally at the time she goes rather than all the time, and she'll get it that you're interested in getting to know her without coming on too strong. have fun!

If she told you what time she usually plays, then she's already interested. You don't have to play hard to get for a whole week. After all, it sounds like she invited you - so not going is like ignoring her. As for flirting - just act like yourself...that's what attracted her in the first place.

I agree with English Teacher. She gave you the hint by telling you what time she plays - so I wouldn't wait a week. I suspect if she likes you, she'll be looking for you next time and it you don't come till a week later, she'll be disappointed.

Yes I agree with the others - it was probably becasue of the holiday. It's sweet the way you went there, hoping she would be there too. I like 'a long ways' suggestion lol

i don't know that i would throw a game. she may not like that at all if she figures it out. the thing about her fixing her hair and getting hit with the ball is pretty funny though.
i worked in the pro shop of a small tennis club years ago. one of my favorite jobs. three of the pros used to play each other in their off hours. the one pro, i'll call him brad, used to regularly beat another pro emma. they played every day and actually got married later. the head pro, andrew, never practiced as he was in grad school and had no time. he used to beat brad when ever they played and brad would get so mad because andrew never practiced and he played daily. but emma, at least a foot shorter than andrew, used to beat andrew the head pro whenever they played a match. tennis...it's a game of love.
