Indie, I think you did the right thing.. you have to always put yourself first and don't let anyone ever tell you what to do or how to live your life. You know what's best for you..

I'm also on paxil for anxiety and I have had many people tell me to get off of it and that I 'don't need it'. Well, let's just say, the 3 times I tried to get off of it, my agoraphobia got so bad, I had to be put on a disability pension, and ended up at the ER many times. Anti depressants are prescribed for a reason and some people just don't seem to understand that. I bet that so called 'friend' would reconsider what she said if she had to walk one day in your shoes. Anxiety is the worst and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy..

(((((((((((Indie))))))))))) hope you are feeling better and know that we all support you here at PC
