I don't know what to think about our relationship. I thought for sure it was going to tank when I sent him the email I did. I sent him an email containing a video of the Partridge family singing the song I think I love you. He hasn't commented on it and I for sure am not going to ask him about it.

Mom and I checked out through his line last week (he works at Walmart) and we were talking about The Hardy Boys T.V. show and he was laughing and said yea I allow her to have her crush on Shaun Cassidy and she allows me to have my crush on Linda Carter (Wonder Woman).

We talk on the phone a couple of times a week not every day like we used to. He told my mom that he didn't want to talk to me every day so I cut back on my phone calls to him and it actually works a lot better kind of like absence makes the heart grow fonder thing. We have more meaningful conversations when we don't talk every day. When we go more than a day it seems better. So it isn't a bad thing.

I just wish I knew how his heart felt and don't know how to approach finding out so how do I find out without sounding to needy?

Hi there! I think in a way you asked him (with song) and you should wait for some kind of signals from him dont push him .men are simple if they feel you are putting them under pressure they freak out.I think, you should wait for while see whats his next step for your relashonship .Its good that you give him some space.Good luck

How sweet, has he asked you out jan? I'd let it go slowly and see what happens. I wouldn't say men are simple in fact some of them are very complex, it's the person not the sex that makes up the personality, and though sexuality does have a bearing and men think of sex every 6 seconds it doesn't mean someone is simple. He has come over for supper and a movie since then and we had a good time. We have talked about going to the movies now that my wound vac is gone we just haven't decided which one. I do know that when Harry Potter comes out we will go see that one. Rex is my best friend so the fact that I am in love with him makes it even harder. I just wish I knew how he felt and don't know how to find out.

He told my mom at one time that he wouldn't ever marry me or that I wouldn't ever get married because I go to the doctor too much. That was when I was sick a lot more than I am now and was at my GP's office at least once a week. I don't know what he thinks that now I have insurance and also don't go see Dr. Jim all the time. I don't know what he thinks about me being in therapy though we never have talked about it. Of course we never have talked about that comment he made to my mom either.

I'm not sure you can have a real relationship with your mom in there? It reminded me of a story my stepmother told me about when she was dating her first husband and he came down to my grandparents' beach cottage as a "surprise" only there weren't enough beds, the house was full so my stepmother and he slept in the same bed. . . with my grandmother inbetween! LOL; was the 1930's.

It sounds a little bit like he's using your mom as a means of not having to get closer to you or let you get to him?
