Hi Mac, glad you went - and that you overcame your fears!

Have you posted your photos on here? Do you have a link?

Thank you for your loquacious, not to say prolix, piece of travel reportage. As regards your job application for the post of travel writer.....we'll be in touch.

I was wondering how you were. Was it a distraction? How are you feeling now?
Thanks for this!

Nice photos Mac. Where are you off to next? Why not have a trip to Thailand. Friendly people, interesting culture, good and cheap food, cheap accomodation and cheap massage and erm, cough cough extras if you want them . It's on my list.

Don't know - Bermuda looks nice - so does Vienna. As for escort vacations god knows I could use one. But the hollowness of such a thing makes me cringe a bit - would be nice to be loved by someone.....

I'm not saying that would be the main reason for me to go there, which is why I mentioned the culture etc. But we're only human and at the right time with the right person. Go even just for the massage. You might want to avoid the places where men just seem to go for sex. Chiang mai looks interesting. Cooler and not so garish as some places down south. Go for it Mac.
As for it being hollow. No more hollow than buying a a gift, drinks and dinner on a date for some woman you don't know in the hope of getting sex and company.

Vienna is lovely, make sure you try the sachertorte.
