Hey Everyone!

I know I haven't posted in a while; or even been on here for that matter. Every time I've posted a thread myself, it seemed to be me worried about some aspect of my relationship. The job and the fact that I was the first serious relationship the bf had been in seemed to be the primary causes of arguments. Dating a pilot gives you a chance to spend a lot of time by yourself, and dating a commitment-phobe simply sucks.

I feel like over the last couple of months, our relationship has done a 180! We've gotten into one argument (my fault and well deserved!) and that's all. He tries to spend every possible minute with me while he's home so I've been seeing him 4 - 5 days a week and he's been so sweet. He makes me dinners, built me a BBQ stand for my grill, helped me pick up a glider from my mom's house, buys wine every night, always wants to cuddle, and has just been amazingly sweet and says the nicest things! I'm happy to say things have gotten to the point that he talks about things far in the future, tells me he loves me all the time, and that we're going to get married and have kids!!! He even remembers the brand of ring that I want and the type.

I'm just so happy and relieved that we've made it through all of the crap before and we're both in a place that we're really happy together. I love him so much and I'm so thankful and appreciative that everything is falling into place I just wanted to be sure to post something because I'm so happy and wanted to say that life isn't always bad... eventually good things will come!

Good for you, just make sure you tell him how much you appreciate all his efforts.
People really like to hear how much they are appreciated. "Thank you and I love you hun" every day goes a long way and always makes one want to spend more time being appreciated.
