Okay so there's this one girl who used to be my best friend, and I mean she was a really really close friend. Well we grew apart which was both of our faults and neither of us really wanted it to happen. Even after all this time we still click, like when we talk it's like we're still good friends because we just get each other like we always have.
But anyway, she keeps acting like she really wants to be my friend again, like how we used to be. She'll make it sound like she really misses me and that we're still best friends we just have been distant for awhile. It annoys me because we have the same lunch period, so if she really means everything she says, why do I always sit alone? If she really cared about me then I feel like maybe at least once she'd consider letting me sit with her. If she does come over to me it's only to ask where someone is. Acually, that's how it is with everyone. No one minds leaving me behind, nor do they mind when I'm alone to start with. I pretend to be comfortable alone, but I really wish I had more people to go to. I wish I had someone to sit with at lunch. I'm tired of people saying they're my friend, or acting like they are, but then they just leave me by myself.

Why do you not go sit with them instead of going off and sitting alone? Why do they have to ask you rather than you go be with them if that is what you want? Think about it from their point of view; if you were someone (you are :-) and had to go "beg" someone to come sit with you or you were with one or two other girls and all sat down, how could you get up and go get this other girl and have her come over, etc.?

We cannot be "seen" unless we at least move/make ourselves and our presence known; that's our job, not someone else's to see us.
