I wish my mother was dying of Leukemia, and I would be the perfect match. I would say piss off.

Getting even doesn't usually make us feel better......what usually makes us feel better is killing them with kindness....it not only makes us feel good because we feel we are doing a good thing, but it usually makes them feel guilty for the rotten ways they have treated us in the past while feeling undeserving of our kindness. (that is assuming that the person has a heart in the first place & awareness that there was a problem....not in complete denial)

Sorry you have a mother who made you feel this way

I can understand how you would feel that way. Abusive people are best to stay away from especially when they have no ability to feel remorse for what they did....whether parents or just other people.

My grandfather died of leukemia. It is an awful way to die.

Anyway, killing someone you don't like with kindness IS usually the best way to do things. If you can't club them over the head with a smile hard enough to do anything, it's sometimes best to simply cut your losses and ignore them entirely, if at all possible.

I am sorry your mother neglected you like that...that is unforgivable.
