Well I did it

Let me tell you a bit of background for those of you that don't know. I have this friend my, best friend, whose name is Rex. Well I have some serious intense feeling for him and tonight I emailed him and told him. I couldn't bring myself to tell him when I talked to him tonight but I told him check you email I sent you something. I also quoted a couple of Garth Brooks songst he one's I sent are To Make You Feel My Love and the other song I sent was It's Your Song. I express myself best by music and tonight when I was listening to my Garth stuff this song just blind sided me and I was crying because it just fit perfectly to my feelings. I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship if he doesn't feel the same way but I thought it was important to let him know how I feel. I am scared that he doesn't feel the same way but I guess I will have to deal with that if he doesn't.

An update.......I don't know if read his email over the weekend because he was staying at his dad's so he could get out to go to work. I don't know if his dad has the internet. Anyway I saw him yesterday when I went grocery shopping and stopped to talk to him. He told me that he forgot to make his lunch and I told him well I wish you would have told me that earlier cuz I would have brought or bought you something...he said well you still can. I gave him is options and he chose Potatoes Stroganoff from Hamburger Helper. So I took it back to him and then he was talking to one of the door greeters who was handing out recipe books and he pointed out a few of them and said you need to make these for me. So I don't know how to take this and I haven't talked to him today because he thought I was at school this morning and then he had school this afternoon then off to work at the gym. I'm on the internet now and probably won't talk to him until tomorrow but I'm not going to call him he has to call me.

I talked to him last night. He was quiet to being with and then after I acted like nothing happened he was back to his usual self. So now I really don't know what to do.

He may be like shy and embarrassed...I would be like that too. I know if the dude I am sooo smitten over emailed me something like that..I would be swooning behind his back Well I did it

I am a loon btw...and not saying anything...If the dude didn't like you he would not see you again..just keep on being you ...he knows now and when he can he will act on it

Thanks sleeps. Well he must not be repulsed by the idea of being my boyfriend but he hasn't said yes I'll be your boyfriend yet either. He called me last night and we talked. I told him about me dropping out of school for the semester and I told him I was nervous about telling him. He said as long as you go back in the fall I have no problem with you sitting out a semester just make sure you go back. He sings in the local community college's chorale group and they have their major fundraiser this weekend and next and he insisted that I go so mom and I got the last two tickets for this Saturday. I would have gone anyway even if I didn't get to eat I would have gone just to hear him. He also asked if after the cabaret is over if we could watch the movie Red Eye at my house. He said he'd rent it and I could cook dinner. So maybe he's intrigued by what I said and is willing to explore it deeper. Even if he isn't I'll be happy to just hang out with him after all I get hugs every once in awhile.

lol jbug HE LIKES YOU...He just don't wanna talk about it and take his time.....go slow and just keep on being you..I think he is a lot like me in that he dont want to be put on the spot...You got him now enjoy him and go slow

Sounds like he was pleasantly taken aback and is trying to figure out how to "get back on top" of the situation, as it were. Guys like to think "it" is their idea, that they are in control.... I think your instincts to let him find his footing by taking the lead for a while is smart. Best to you.

Well I have talked to him several times this week. I see him tomorrow night because he sings in the local community college's chorale group and they have cabaret tomorrow night so Mom and I are going. Will be a fun time. He is excited about coming over to my apartment to eat and watch a movie he said it will be what he needs after these next two weeks. I will see him again on Sunday when I go grocery shopping.

I got to see him yesterday. He came over for lunch and we watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Then we watched Dr. Phil. I'm really glad he stayed to watch Dr.Phil with me because he doesn't really like or understand that I have to take meds but after that show yesterday he looked at me and said I now know you have to take your meds and please stay on them. I also saw him Saturday night and my mom took our picture together and he put his arm around my waist. He also gave me a hug. As they were serving us dinner he walked by me and bent down and said now pace yourself you know you have spaghetti and cheesecake left to eat. I thought that was very special that he thought about that.
