For the last few weeks I have been working with an employment centre in the city that assists those with disabilities and mental health issues find and maintain employment.

Today I went to a self-esteem workshop there, and I lady that I had met a few times earlier, Alex, was there as well. When she saw me, she said she was surprised to see me again, as it has been a while since I was last there. She seemed nice beforehand and I was hoping to talk to her more when I saw her next.

At the end of the workshop, I wasn’t sure how I could talk to her, and since I didn’t think she had a vehicle, I asked her if I could drive her home. We talked about what we thought of the workshop on the way to my car and more while I was driving, and she seems really nice. We also seem to have a lot in common. She said she’d have asked if I wanted to have a coffee, but she had to pick up her daughter, and therefore didn’t have the time. (She has a 9-year-old.) We will see each other again on Wednesday and Friday because the workshop is three days long.

She told me she is 40; I thought she was like 23! I told her that I am 21, and she thought I was older!

I think it is a start?
Thanks for this!

It very well could be Mr. Venomous, at the very least it sounds like you have made a friend. I wish you the best of luck in continuing to get to know her better.
