Hi,
My husband of 20 years has always had very poor self-esteem and neuroticism. It's affected his daily life and led to depression. It's been difficult for myself and my son to deal with and we'd like some advice. He's mentioned that he feels invisible. We try to encourage him in all aspects of his life but it hasn't helped. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Feeling invisible is serious stuff - your encouragement is insufficient and he needs professional help. Watch your son as these things can be passed on from generation to generation.
