Please bear with me, I am new to computers as well, I have recently met a man whom we both seem to have a lot in common. He has disclosed his fetish to me as well as I have disclosed mine, ....we have a strong physical attraction, good communication and accepting of each other. It first started off as coffee together, and now its coffee every day in public.. no alone time yet for anything physical. We both seem to have fears because of our past relationships. Me 2 failed marriages, him 1 failed marriage and an emotional breakdown....it has been years for him....for me it has been 1 year away from my ex-husband physically, 3 years emotinally....what steps if any do I need to take,if any. I am 53 and he is 59....He asked me what I thought a relationship was all about, my answer was communication committement, compatiability.....we are both well aware of the strong physical attraction to each other....he said he wanted to know what True Love is, I indicated to him, that True Love consists of Intimacy, Passion and Committement.....passion is NOT just the physical part, but it does help (those things come and go depending on circumstances) When he talks he uses the "we" term.....and then will switch it back to "friends"....this is leaving me a bit confused.....I have indicated to him, if he needs to know anything at all, please ask and I would do likewise as I do not read minds and am not into playing game.......Does this sound like a promising relationship? He seems to geniunely care about me, if I do not call him, he will call me.....Any opinions would be appreciated.

Sounds quite promising to me too. He is sending mixed messages tho when he goes from talking "we" to "friends." You might want to address that -- the first thing you want to make sure that you have is an OPEN LINE of communication. That's going to be very important in this relationship. You may (or may not) have had this in prior relationships, so you've got to make sure you have it in THIS one. So keep everything open, and if you have any fears or unanswered questions, ASK them.

Other than that, it looks pretty good! Keep talking! Hugs, Lee
