I was on MySpace today and got a message from someone. I come to find out it's from my best friend from high school that I haven't heard from since graduation! I was so totally ecstatic!
We talked and talked some more. I gave her my # so she could call me and we talked for hours upon hours! Back when we were friends in high school she was a bit odd...to say the least. Well, she was a closet lesbian! You could tell just by looking at her. So now here we are...both of us are lesbians and both of us are pagan! Now how cool is that! So I wanted someone to talk to about these things and here is the best gift I could ever receive! Of course, it is quite difficult not to flirt at this point. I mean even after 10 years we know each other like the back of our hands! We like all the same thing, have very similar interests, and just mesh so well! It's just crazy! The downfall is she's on the other side of the state! At least we can chat and call each other! I really feel great right now. It's like a connection I've always wanted and have actually not had much faith that I'd ever find it! But there it is...right in front of me!

Makes me happy, too, canders! Actually so happy that I can't sleep! I slept a couple of hours but nothing major! And I'm supposed to get up in a couple hours for partial! Oh well...couldn't sleep.

I'm happy for you too. Something like that happened to me in a mall. I was walking along when someone from highschool came up to me and asked if I was my highschool name's sister, since I was a guy in school. I said I was the origional he knew in school with a few changes. My explaination of intersex became a seminar as a few curious people stopped to evesdrop.
As I learned, you are right not to flirt at first. Allow time for getting reaquainted. After ten years, you are different people in many ways. My friend and I still see each other, so who knows what could happen? Good luck! |

Yea, Lexi!!! How great to reconnect and find you still have so much in common plus paganism now plus lesbianism now. Isn't it amazing how this has come about just after you realized how you feel? I love when the universe does this.

Lucky ***...you never know, this could be destiny calling you. That's the one thing I've mainly liked about MySpace is finding old friends. I'm glad she found you and now you can have somebody to turn to when you get lonely or frustrated.
