Hi, i'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place but I just feel so lost right now and I need someone to talk to. I'm 14 and have never been emotionally/mentally well. I hate my dad and I've tried talking to my mum, but she doesn't seem well either and just doesn't listen to me and ends up arguing with me. Again, I'm sorry if this is rambling or if I'm doing something wrong but I just really need some help. I can't take it, and am contemplating suicide.

hi, firstly welcome to PC and I'm glad you found the forums ... I really hope you find some offline support as well. Is there anyone you can talk to? eg. school counselor or something of that kind - someone you could talk to about what is going on with your parents and with how hard things are becoming for you

These are some resources you might like to look at as well as far as the thoughts you mentioned

Suicide Helpline
Suicide Resources

Please keep reaching out and finding help,

you deserve to find it

I'm glad you've reached out for help - that to me would suggest there is a definite part of you that wants to live and desires change. There are several ways of going about this. Firstly, do you have access to a phone so you can call suicide/mental health hotlines? Do you have a drop in center or school counselor for whom you could go to for advice and support? Fortunately there are a lot of routes for someone your age to when they find themselves in difficulty and they're usually quite convenient like being based in school or church etc. Continue posting here if you find it a source of help and comfort. Bare in mind that you are still young, your body is still undergoing changes and progress is possible no matter what you're facing. Hold on to that. Good luck.
