old habits die hard. Yep, I have a great deal of bad habits that annoy people. Or at least that's what I think when people are around me. The most annoying one is probably chewing out loud in public and though others may not be saying much about it, I think people actually think that and I definitely want to quit doing that. So any tips?

You mean chewing with your mouth open or just making a lot of noise when you chew or both?

Is there anyone you can have around you who will remind you as soon as you engage in this bad habit? As you say, old habits die hard and you're probably not even aware most of the time when you are doing it.

Just one thought......

I would start with trying to deal with smaller pieces of food at any one time.
