have you ever wondered if you tried hard enough that you can persuade anyone to be your friend? I don't know how to do it.

I don't think you should have to persuade someone to be your friend. Genuine people will recognise your qualities and like you for who you are, rather than your abilities to persuade. If they need persuasion then personally I don't think they're worth it! They're not real friends in that case. In my opinion anyway.
