I have realized that dealing with fake friends can lead to depression, at least that's what has happened to me in the past since they are emotional and energy vampires, therefore I have almost completely removed all of these people from my life. Just a couple more to go and I'm free of them, it literally makes me feel better and happier!

Thanks for this!

I'm very careful when it comes to choosing "friends", I've been burned many times.
I give each relationship time to develop and to see what the person is all about.
To be honest, I don't trust anyone to be a true friend.

Me too, I have the same problem and same mindset, that's why now I'm very cautious and if I find someone to be fake, I cut them out of my life as soon as possible. Unfortunately most people are only out for themselves and you may only have 2-3 real friends in your life, everyone else is either just a good acquaintance or out to use you.

I know the feeling! I'm glad you're not allowing any of these "vampires" in your life anymore.

2-3 real friends is great! I think that's normal tbh, I don't think we'd have the time or energy on a ton of real friends.

I do think from your last few posts that you may spend too long dwelling on people - it's all been about fake friends. I am glad that you're going to be stronger on this issue now, so you can spend less time on these folk, and not get so depressed about it. Onwards and upwards I say!

Yep, thank you! . Yes I have noticed that and feel like I've gone too far, complaining too much doesn't do anything except make it worse so really the Bly thing I can do now is do what I've said before which is to cut them out of my life for good, and as for the threads, I plan on making more on more neutral to positive stuff. . I don't want to be seen as an emotional vampire myself lol.

You've not gone too far have you? I don't think so anyway - just working out stuff isn't it? Nothing wrong with getting some opinions, that's what PC's about huh? I was just glad to read that you've sorted things out for yourself and are feeling happier! :-)

I meant too far as to the point where I no longer get replies, but yep I agree and I am getting sock of posting that stuff so much so that's why I'm just going to follow through what I said I would do. . Thank you.
