My boyfriend didn't come home last night, and it has left me feeling very angry and upset today. I don't even know where he stayed or what he was doing.

He was with guys he works with yesterday evening (construction workers) and said he was just hanging with them around 10. Then later he said he was going to cab home soon, because they were all going to the bar. My boyfriend isn't supposed to be drinking because of past issues with his drinking.

I was starting to get agitated at this point because he wasn't supposed to be late. I told him well cab home now then- and he finally responded that he would- but was "just hanging." I fell asleep soon after (almost midnight) and woke up around 4:30 am to find out that he had never come home. I had a text from him around 1:30 am saying "have a good night" and that was it. No explanation- nothing. I'm assuming since the guys he was with were going to the bar he must have too since he didn't come home.

I haven't heard anything more from him. I'm really upset. I don't even want to talk to him. He knows how much this kind of stuff upsets me because of our past issues, and I cannot believe he would just not come home like that!

I guess I just needed to vent- hard to concentrate at work when I'm this tired/upset/angry.

I can understand how angry and upset you must be. He was very inconsiderate as well as just wrong to do what he did. Glad you came here to vent. Working must be really hard considering how upset you must be. Try and stay calm ast you can and get through your work day. Hang in there.
Gayle
Thanks for this!
