He called me last week. He and his wife, who hated the family, are separating. He's hurt, sad, and broken. They were supposed to close on a house next week too. His lease is up on his apt in a week and got nowhere to go. I convinced him to talk to Mom and Dad, who has has disowned for the past two years bc of drama with his wife and stuff.
Anyhow, things are looking up. I happy. I didn't think I could forgive him for basically leaving the family and hurting my parents like he did. But, he needs us. He needs us...and in a way, I think we need him. We always have. |

So there are no longer planning to close on a house?
I hope this all means that ultimately all of you (you, the parents, the bro) need one another and always will. |

Thanks. Yea- not closing on the house. That's a good decision. They will lose some money but its better this way than being stuck with a house and trying to do a mortgage alone.

Update- he's moving in with my parents for a little while until he gets back on his feet.but he is still closing on the house with his wife, and she's going to live in it with her friend. Idk why he's doing that. It's the stupidest idea ever. Supposedly they are separated and yet he's signing his life away. I just don't get it.
Now my parents think he's using them for a place to stay. It's still really awkward between them and he told them "I won't stay long bc I know how bad things are between us." Now I'm both worried about my parents and my brother. Idk what to do or if I can do anything but wait and see how it goes when he moves in on Wed. |
