Mistakes

I make mistakes. And when I do, it seems I shouldn't be forgiven. It seems I should be punished. This sounds horribly familiar but it is the reality of my life

(((Fuzzy))) I'm glad you at least call them mistakes. That means you didn't mean them. Everyone who is human makes mistakes. What part of that (other than you think you're a bear ) applies to you???? Yeah. The thing, imo, about mistakes...is that a good person does learn from them. Other ppl make them,laugh, and go on and make them again with no regard to the repercussions. You're a good person um bear!

You know what Sky? You've got that EXACTLY right, especially about the some people making "mistakes" then laughing and going on to hurt people again.

Mistakes: drank a lot & smoked while pregnant with my daughter & she came prematurely. I had untreated bipolar. She is now 30 & doing great but has had periods of depressions so she has inherited the mood disorder from me as I did from my mother.

A month ago I overdosed on Xanax & wine (been stable for about 4 yrs.) & ended up with my husband taking me to the ER.

My heart goes out to you both. We learn from mistakes and go on. It isn't always easy but thats how we get wise. Fuzzy sounds like someone is trying to sell you a bill of goods. Listen to your own heart.

IDK...I often wonder about the forgiveness statement...for instance...you would forgive me, fuzzybear, for something before you would forgive yourself, imo.

You should start loving yourself a little more, give yourself a chance to live! People learn from their mistakes, now if you never did any mistakes you would never learn!

You are right, I do forgive people easily, especially for the "first offence" as some might say But more often than not, that has backfired on me My parents and stepmother bore grudges for TINY things I "did" for years..... and yet some of the things they did to me would boggle your mind
