My question may seem superficial; still I would like to know if things like ‘True friendships’ still exists, Like that old Greek legend, where a friend would sacrifice his own life for his buddy. Or today’s friendship is more about being practical, relieving stress, share fun etc. Another factor is if you are having an enemy, having a friend would make things better by intimidating him, even beat him etc to make you stronger. So is it part of the notorious mob culture? And in terms of a girl’s or woman’s friendship, I would like to know how it grows, matures (Is there a maturity for friendship too). Do friendships differ because of cultural differences too?
