I know the feeling! I moved away from home two years ago and have yet to make new friends and the old ones hardly ever keep in contact with me unless I contact them first. I guess I've learned to just be alone more often although that gets me depressed a lot. I'm terrible at making friends so that's probably why I havent yet. Do you just not talk to those friends anymore? You can always make new friends? Easy for me to say though.. hard to do, but maybe not for you?

I've found that it becomes much more difficult to make new friends once you leave school, college or university. In those environments it's relatively easy, since people are open to forming new relationships. But in a workplace things can be much harder. How about joining a class, related to an interest, such as: dance, art, or some kind of sport?
