My boyfriend broke up with me a month ago. He was the only guy I have dated since my divorce. We were together for 9 months. He dumped me saying he did not want a relationship and that he did not feel the way about me that I felt about him. I have been really up and down these past few weeks. Looking back, I see the red flags glaring. However, it just hurts so bad. Like a deep within my heart hurt.I just am having a really hard time controlling my emotions. I cry all of the time. I have talked with my therapist about it. Intellectually, I know the break up was for the best. But in my heart, it just hurts so bad. Thank you for listening.

I am sorry about the breakup.... They can be hard... Only time heals the heart, the more you are away from him, the less the sting.
First, get rid of anything that reminds you of him.... Hide that stuffed bear he won u at the fair, throw away any pictures of him, block him on Facebook, delete his number, I know this is hard so one step at a time. You will feel the sting as long as there is a void. Try looking for healthy ways to fill it, hang out with friends, buy a new little black dress, doll yourself up and just walk around your house in heels ![]() Good luck P.s if you can get a pet ![]() |
